Thank you for your interest in our program. For this application you will need to submit a map or maps that include the enrolled acres, field names, groundwater pump locations and nearest public road. Marking these key components on existing maps is acceptable.

    • Indicate how many pumps will be available to provide water for this application
    • Indicate the power source for the groundwater pump(s) that will be utilized for this program. Select all that apply.
    • List the water district(s) that normally provide your winter water
    • Do you have a preference for the types of wildlife your fields will provide habitat for?
    • Provide an estimated date for when groundwater pumping will begin for this program. If you are pre-flooding enrolled fields with surface water, please indicate the approximate date you will switch to groundwater for maintenance.

    • Answers should vary based on flood options. For Full Duration Flood and Maintenance: simply select 01/31/2022. For Short Duration Flood and Maintenance: Indicate the last day you are willing to participate in the program. For One-time Flood: please use your best estimate for when you expect your field(s) will be dry.

    • Include all of the costs associated with groundwater pumping to maintain this flooded habitat. Please only submit a number (no dollar sign or decimals)
    • List the field name(s) and the respective acres for EACH field(s) included within this bid. Ensure that the field name(s) listed here match those on the provided map(s).
    • If you are applying with more than one field in the same bid, are you willing to accept an enrollment option that does not include all of the fields?
    • I have reviewed the Practice Requirements. I understand the exclusion areas and acceptable straw management practices for this program.

    • I represent and warrant that the acres included in this bid are not concurrently enrolled in any State, Federal, Non-profit, or other programs during the same flooding period (including mitigation or easements). The Foundation will coordinate with organizations currently providing incentives for post-harvest flooding to ensure there is no direct overlap in the programs.

      By signing below, I acknowledge that the information I am providing in this document is accurate. I also acknowledge that I have the power to and am authorized to execute the Contract with respect to my bid, and agree that if my bid is accepted I will promptly execute a contract in the form of the Contract and will implement the above specified program option on the above named acres, barring acts of God and other force majeure, in exchange for payment at least equal to my bid.
